On May 1st I took a position with Merrill Lynch.
I am now officially part of the suit wearing, latte drinking, stocks and bonds
establishment. My new title is Vice President, Senior Technology Specialist
and I am working in the Private Wealth Center. This site was created to handle
accounts over $10,000,000.00 and some that are well into the billions. Merrill
Lynch is know through the world as a great company to work with as well as work
for.

From December 1999 until April of 2000 I held
a position with Pickle Technology Solutions. Pickle is a company that I had
been working closely with during my time with ACS. They are on the cutting edge
of the network world, and offer connectivity solutions to fit every need. VPN,
high-speed wireless Internet connections, and high availability co-locations
are just a few of the solutions they can bring to your business.

For three years I was employed by ACS (Affiliated
Computer Services) with the City of Irvine account. I worked as the Network
Administrator for the city on both the LAN and the WAN. I have to say that it
was a great company to work for and they have done a lot for me as far as education.
They also put a lot of confidence in me, and didn't seem to mind my lack of
respect for authority. One of the best things about ACS was their ability to
involve me in projects that expand my existing fields of expertise. I left ACS
only for the opportunity to work with bigger networks and ultimately take over
the world (You gotta think big...right?). I made a lot of friends with ACS and
hope to keep in touch with everybody. In the Technical Notes section of my site
I will go into more detail about some of my projects with ACS.

A long time ago, in a city not too far far away,
a man was upset with his ISP because they told him he couldn't execute his own
code on their servers. Upset, this man set off to find an ISP that would let
him do all that he wanted with their servers....but alas, there was no such
ISP. So the man proclaimed that he would build his own ISP and rule the Internet
as he saw fit. So, together with a few other venture capitalists, the man brought
forth the ISP that would become know as CBK.Net. And there was peace throughout
the ethernet. The peace did not last long however, because competition was fierce
in the world of ISPs. The waters of the Internet started getting rough, and
the tiny CBK.Net tossed. If not for the courage of it's fearless crew, the ISP
would be lost...the ISP would be lost. (Sorry about that....I started getting
sidetracked) To make a long story short, CBK Enterprses was desolved, but the
servers ended up with me to be abused as I see fit...just like they were intended.
